Lighting design serving movement.

For What Connects Us, a choreographic creation by Company Faizal Zeghoudi, light becomes a sensitive language serving movement, bodies and the relationships built on stage.

The design accompanies group dynamics, tensions, breaths and trajectories, drawing a space in constant transformation. The lighting work seeks less to illustrate than to reveal states, presences and invisible circulations between the dancers.

Through a sober and precise writing, the scenic device contributes to the dramaturgy of the performance by creating shifting atmospheres, depths and zones of perception where the spectator’s gaze can circulate freely.

Light thus becomes a living material, able to accompany the physicality of dance and reveal a shared space between performers, stage and audience.
