For La culture du Zèbre, I created the video design for the performance, developing a visual world in dialogue with Fred Bendongué’s choreography.
The images accompany movement as a rhythmic and sensitive material, between abstraction, energy and stage presence. The video device extends the stage space without illustrating it literally.
The work seeks to make the gaze circulate between body, light and image. Video becomes a living material that amplifies certain presences, opens up depth and contributes to the dramaturgy of the performance.
This creation belongs to an approach in which digital arts remain in the service of the living body, rhythm and the relationship with the audience.
