For 3 Men on a Roof, the video design accompanies the stage as a living material, in dialogue with bodies, the actors’ rhythm and the scenographic space. The visual device extends the world imagined by Antoine Marneur through a scenic writing where image becomes a territory of circulation between memory, fiction and the performers’ presence.

The video projections were conceived as sensitive fragments transforming the perception of the set and opening different depths of reading within the performance. The creative work was built around a search for balance between technical sobriety, precision of framing and the evocative power of image.

Here, video acts as an extension of acting and scenic movement, contributing to the dramaturgy without ever taking precedence over the presence of the performers. This approach seeks to create a fluid relationship between theatre, space and image, in an immersive and organic form specific to contemporary live performance.
